Hamley's, Mourash and Buckhingham Palace

After Juma'a we went to Hamley's toy store. Its quite a fun place and all the kids, including the 47-year-old one, had fun.

After a while Afzal and I braved the wet weather and walked to Oxford Circus and with the paper boys directions and Google map, we found Sports Direct where we picked up some Lonsdale gear for Burhan.

Whilst Sadiq went to look for parking, Sumaiya, Shehnaz and kids caught a cab and Afzal and I walked along Oxford St to Maroush V (4 Vere St) a great Lebanese restaurant where food was very nice and the prices reasonable.

From there Sadiq, Shehnaz and family and Muhsina headed home whilst the rest of us went to do some shopping. Didn't buy much but I did get my Clark's shoes for 35 pounds (AUD 55).

We caught a cab to Buckingham Palace where there was a light show - Face Britain - projection of kids drawings of the Queen on the front of the palace.

Finally we got another cab with a very jovial cab driver (who wants to visit his sister in Adelaide next year) to Baker St Station (our favourite London station now) and caught a train (where I am writing this) bound for Moor Park. Sadiq will pick us up from there.
