In the line at the British Museum

Afzal and I are waiting in the line at the British Museum. Afzal reckons there are about 200 people in line. 300 tickets. Most are sub-continental so I figure that they will each purchase a handful of tickets for family members who will come late. Amazing - and I thought it was a unique idea.

Chances are low . . .

  1. ;-) Yes of course they would.

But tell me how do you find the Anglo-Saxon land where once the sun never set (and I am not talking about winter's midnightsun) overrun by our relatives from the subcontinent? A bit jolting at first - but amazing to hear that heavy cockney accent from rather unexpected sources - the elderly in full traditional outfit!

And would you like that with masala chips and curry?
