We landed 15 minutes earlier than expected. Going through customs was fairly straigh forward, however the Border section where we officially enter UK was a bit haphazard. The desks are all over the place and they have people to guide you which desk to go to next.
The officer at the desk was very friendly. (In contrast to the officer at Australian customs as we were leaving who was made a bit of a feigned show of not being able to differentiate between Sumaiya and Jumanah.)
Progressing through the remainder of customs in London was a breeze. We found our luggage very quickly. When we got to the "something to declare" (Red) area, there was nobody there exscept a sign saying to go to the officer in the Green area. There was noone in the Green area so we went straight through and met Sadiq outside.
Sadiq and Shehnaz came with their two cars. The guys went in the Beemer and the girls are coming with Shehnaz in their new Lexus.
Great to see you have arrived! Is that the evening sunlight? Looks like the weather is good. Hope now you will able to get that sleep. How cold is it? Sageer tells me that you will be going to Windsor Castle tomorrow. He thinks they may join you there. That would be good!
